What a wonderful historic fish shop in the heart of Liverpool. It was recommended on several pages to pay a visit to this old restaurant and nothing short of great service, food and an absolute positive experience we had. Food is truly delicious and made from the heart. Staff truly helpful and although inside is quite small and tight, they manage to keep an organized atmosphere. A definite recommendation for anyone wanting to try an affordable, value for money, traditional fish and chips while touring around the beautiful Liverpool city.

It’s simple and basic in set up. food is on point. One of the best chips I had while in Liverpool. The fish is fresh, order the large set it costs only a wee bit more. The pies are good too! Dine in area is small and always buzzing. Service staff are great, and get your order out fast! Take away boxes are proper.

The food was great and service is just as good. Though we walked in at almost the closing time, they allowed me stay in the shop to finish my food. Fish was fresh and chips were hot and crispy! Would recommend this place and will return if I were to come back to Liverpool.

Delicious fish and chips. I got a small fish and small chips with curry for 9.70 in total. The chips were soft and moist on the inside while well-fried on the outside. The fried fish was good with firm and flaky fish meat and crispy batter. I would say the star is the chips. Small shop with inside and outside seating space. A great find.

Cash only business!! Fish and chips was one of the best I have ever had period. They also need time, 10-15 minutes to make the meal. They also cater to gluten-free dietary needs. Highly recommend that you try them out.

This little hole in the wall is a local gem. They serve some of the best fried fish I have eaten. The chips were plentiful and a little soft for my taste but for me it is all about the fish so I was very happy with this find.

The small fish, chips & peas dinner was delicious and not too greasy, unlike in some other places. The staff were friendly. Highly recommended!
